K'Nex: Building Thrill Rides
September 28, 2008 - January 4, 2009 | All Day
601 Light Street
Baltimore, MD 21230
Where does a roller coaster car have the most potential energy (PE) and how is it converted to kinetic energy (KE)?
Just one of the many questions that will be answered as visitors explore the science, math and technology concepts behind hair-raising amusement park thrill rides.
The K'NEX: Building Thrill Rides Exhibit offers hours of entertainment and exciting building fun for the entire family. The exhibit contains a Kid K'NEX building station for children ages 3-5, in addition to the ever popular K'NEX stations for children 6+.
The K'NEX name is synonymous with educational fun! K'NEX traveling exhibits have visited more than 35 museums in the United States and Canada, and many of these venues have housed two or more K'NEX exhibits.
"The K'NEX exhibit has been an exciting, hands-on experience for our visitors, while our members keep coming back for more. The exhibit has been really alive with the excitement of families and school children building and playing together."
